GraceWorks Ministries provides innovative marketing, fundraising,
research, and visioning solutions for cutting-edge K - 12
Christian schools that are, or desire to be, great
Christian schools.
GraceWorks has served over 1,200 Christian schools
with service and/or products in marketing, fundraising, leadership
alignment, and research. At present, we have surveyed over
28,000 Christian school constituents and well over 300
Christian schools.
The
leader of GraceWorks Ministries, Dan Krause, has a church growth
/ leadership degree from Fuller Seminary, and is presently
working on a Ph. D. in Educational Leadership, Research, and
Policy from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Recession!
With the
recession, GraceWorks has chosen a new direction: to work
intensively with leading-edge Christian schools (or those
who desire to be).
Why?
Because the best Christian schools will show the way for all
the rest -- especially now, in our current economic,
spiritual, and political climate. It's diffusion of
innovation -- the old ways, the old answers, the old paradigms
simply aren't good enough.
As a Christian school leader, your choice remains
exactly the same:
Normal ... or average?
Lead ... or decline?
If you
are, or want to be, a leading Christian K - 12 school in your
community or your circle of influence, call GraceWorks' President
Dan Krause at (719) 278-9600, ext. 100.
Or
schedule a free, no-obligation 45 minute consultation.
Normal ... or Average? Lead ... or Decline?
The fact is, Christian
school enrollment is down at many Christian schools in America.
That bastion of Christian conservatism, USA Today, claims that
Christian School enrollment is down, on average, 2% nationwide
since September -- with no statistical evidence whatsoever to
back up this audacious (and ridiculous) claim.
Ask yourself, is
enrollment decline during a recession average, or normal?
Certainly, from a Biblical point of view, it's not normal,
because the Kingdom of God does steadily advance (Luke 13:18-21, Daniel 2:44). More practically, thousands of
Christian schools are increasing in enrollment -- even last fall.
We work with them every day. (Normal = Growing!)
Is enrollment decline
during recession average? No. During the
last three economic downturns, enrollment at private schools in
America has held constant. (Ditto overall fundraising
results.) Don't believe us?
We'll send you
the numbers.
The real question is
whether you personally will lead your school beyond decline.
We can tell you in 45 minutes at least half a dozen reasons
why you are not growing --
try us out.
And if you'd like to do
something about these problems, plus some 25+ other problems, try our
fully guaranteed, comprehensive Christian school marketing
process.
Do You Want to Grow Your Christian
School?
Do you want to grow?
Are you willing to pay the price? Are you willing
to embrace the demands of our current economic, political, and
spiritual environment? Or would you rather be part of
someone's statistic? It's up to you.
Decide soon.
Because it is hard for Christian schools, and it will get
harder.
In economics,
Robert Novak, Alan Greenspan, Forbes, Business Week, Bill
Clinton and the New York Times all agree: read the The World
is Curved. Our government leaders act as if the
current downturn is a "once in a lifetime" event. David
Smick argues convincingly that it is not. Ask older people
about the psychology surrounding 1937's "depression in a
depression."
Spiritually, are
you aware that 50 - 60% of active, church-going Christian
teenagers lose their faith during their four years at secular
colleges? Gary Railsback, Steve Henderson, and
George Barna each found this in three separate studies involving
over 50,000 former college students.
A number of
denominations are facing acute pastor / priest shortages in the
years ahead. Whether that problem will be solved is
largely dependent on the success of their K - 12 Christian
schools.
Politically, no one is
saying that a Democrat controlled federal government will
be good for private Christian schools. (Millennials tend
to be more Democratic than Republican.) Perhaps the only
good of all of this is to force us to truly live out God's
highest purposes for our Christian schools, operating boldly with excellence.
God has a
plan and an answer for all of this for your Christian school. It
has been our amazing honor and blessing to experience what He is
doing all over the country. We can help your Christian
school be part of that bold, leading edge.
